We would love to invite your organization to be part of the 5th Annual Day of H.O.P.E. & Positive Influence Block Party: Valuing People, Understanding Policy, and Reducing Poverty! 

​

Location: Levy-Hughes Boys & Girls Clubhouse

Address: 712 W. Amelia St., Orlando, FL 32805

This is a youth-centered community experience created to educate, uplift, and expose our young leaders to real resources, real conversations, and real people who care about their future. 

​

We are looking for community partners who can bring value to the day by setting up a vendor table, offering an activity, sharing resources, or simply showing our youth that local businesses and organizations are invested in them. 

​

This year, the young men in H.O.P.E. Circle selected a powerful theme: Valuing People, Understanding Policy, and Reducing Poverty. Proving that they are watching. They have been asking questions. Now, they are excited to ignite community change! 

​

Topics and themes we will be exploring throughout the event include: 

• Homelessness, housing instability, and unjust policies in Central Florida 

• People, poverty, and the root causes of homelessness 

• Mental health, public safety, and community wellness 

• City budgets, local decision-making, and how youth can get involved 

• Workforce development and pathways out of poverty 

• Understanding the law and becoming a civic advocate 

 

There is no vendor fee to participate, and each community partner will receive one table with black linen and two chairs.

This event is not open to the general public. Attendees will include children and families of the Levy-Hughes Boys & Girls Clubhouse, along with invited community partners. We are expecting approximately 350 participants.
